In dentistry today, the communication process between the dentist, patient and technician is one of the most critical aspects for successful outcomes. With the influx of material choices, knowledge of clinical considerations and proper photography will help set the blueprint for success. This program will guide you through the importance of utilizing or improving your photographic diagnostic management of the risk factors in today’s demanding dental world. Plus, collaborative protocols will be presented for esthetic diagnosis, shade communication and material selection – all aiming to maximize predictability for the dental team and, ultimately, greater patient satisfaction and success.
Course Objectives:
- Discuss camera specifics and the importance of digital photography and critical photographs to aid in diagnostic evaluation and communication.
- Understand proper photographic techniques to communicate color, chroma and value for material selection and accurate shade reproduction.
- Conduct proper shade measurement and communication to help eliminate remakes.
- Take amazing photography – including stunning before and after photographs to attract new patients for practice growth.
